Vembu Server Backup Software
So far does not look good for Vembu. Glaring flaws make the software almost unusable & certainly not ready for market.
When we started testing we thought it might give our old reliable NovaStor a challenge but not at this time.

Research & Development
Did you know that the Arduino IDE supports more than just Arduino products? That will come in handy as we switch from the Arduino Nano line to Espressif modules for our top secret Bluetooth\WiFi interface project. That’s all I can say for now, ’cause, you know, it’s top secret.
State of the Parts
Putting together an article on trends in hardware pricing. Ubiquiti and Meraki were double the price 13 months ago and are even higher now. Hard drives, including SSD don’t appear to have been affected at all. High capacity drives at 16TB & 18TB are pretty darn cheap.
